These terms apply to purchases of The Nonno Secrets (the “book”) from this website. The seller is Your Italian Nonno. You can contact us at hello@youritalianonno.com.
The book is a digital PDF, delivered as an instant download after payment. It is not a physical product.
Prices are shown at checkout in your local currency where available. Payments are handled by Stripe. Stripe acts as the merchant of record for your purchase, which means it processes your payment, calculates and collects any VAT or sales tax due in your country (shown at checkout), and provides payment support. Stripe's terms for Managed Payments also apply to your purchase. We never see or store your full card details.
You will receive access to your download immediately after payment. Your download link stays valid for a year. If you lose it, contact us and we will resend it.
Due to the digital nature of our products and the immediate access provided after purchase, we do not accept refunds for change of mind. This does not affect any rights you may have under applicable law. See our refund policy.
When you buy the book you receive a personal, non-transferable licence to read it on your own devices and to print it for your own use. You may not copy, resell, share, publish or distribute the book or any part of it, or use it to train AI systems, without our written permission.
The text, recipes, layout and images in the book are protected by copyright and belong to Your Italian Nonno unless stated otherwise.
Nonno Aldo is an illustrated character created to narrate the book. The stories are told in his voice; the recipes and customs are traditional Italian and mainly Sicilian home practices. The book is shared for general interest and enjoyment. Please cook with care, follow good food-handling practice, and use your own judgement in the kitchen. Only pick or eat wild plants you can identify with total certainty. Alcohol is optional and should be enjoyed responsibly.
Nothing in these terms limits any right you have by law, including rights about digital content that is faulty or not as described, and we do not exclude liability where the law does not allow it. Subject to that, we are not responsible for losses that were not a foreseeable result of our breach, or for how the recipes turn out in your own kitchen.
We may update these terms. The version on this page when you buy applies to your purchase.
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. If you are a consumer, you may also have the protection of the laws where you live.
